Eight Memorable Years With Sentosa Merlion

Hexogon Solution became synonymous with Sentosa Merlion multimedia show since 2012. The tallest Merlion statue in Singapore, unfortunately, is making way for another exciting development by Sentosa Development Corporation for a new themed thoroughfare between the north and south shores of Sentosa.

Sentosa Merlion is one of the seven Merlions in Singapore that is most frequently visited by tourist apart from the two statues at Merlion Park. The 37-meter tall Sentosa Merlion was built in 1995, housed exhibits within the sculpture that showcased the history of how Sang Nila Utama discovered Singapore. Hexogon Solution is honoured to be appointed by Sentosa Development Corporation to breathe life and vigour to the grand sculpture with thematic multimedia shows on the facade of Sentosa Merlion over the past eight years. Many special occasions and festivities have been celebrated at Sentosa Merlion such as Valentine’s Day, National Day, Christmas, Lunar New Year and other school holidays to increase footfall to the Merlion by sundown. More than ten different show content involving different multimedia elements had been implemented. Holographic projection, lasers, special lighting effects and added-on props were specially developed for Sentosa Merlion that transformed the majestic icon to a visual spectacular that featured dazzling displays of colours and lights with synchronised music; captivated both young and old.
