On 30 June 2013, Gardens By the Bay celebrated their 1st Anniversary. In conjunction to the anniversary celebration, Hexogon Solution were engaged to design and produce this light-and-music extravaganza, Mystical Supertrees.

Mystical Supertrees used advanced video mapping technology to transform the Supertree Grove into a beautiful and mesmerizing magical garden. When darkness descended, light was projected onto the steel trunks of the Supertrees, illuminating them with brilliant colorful images to a musical accompaniment. This is an exciting new projection technique that can turn almost any surface into a dynamic video display. This visual spectacular captivated the senses of the visitors during the one week of video mapping performance.
