(November 2019) – Hexogon Solution’s Fourth Successive Christmasland Projection At New Taipei City

New Taipei City, Taiwan

15 November 2019

15 November 2019

Hexogon Solution successfully executed the fourth successive largest projection mapping in Taiwan at New Taipei City Hall in celebration of Christmas. The 48-day Christmasland visual feast took place from November 15, 2019, to January 1, 2020, is the largest annual Christmas event in Taiwan that attracts thousands of locals and tourist annually. Bustling market fairs, photograph-worthy Christmas themed decorations, electrifying concerts by well-known musicians and the resplendent digital projection feast on New Taipei City Hall completed the whole Christmas experience.

The building facade of New Taipei City Hall and the cone structure at Banqiao Station was brought to life with 45 units of high lumens digital projectors. The digital projection illustrated a story that is a sequel of the past three years whimsical Christmas adventure revolving the Fang Tou Bear (方頭熊) family (translated as the square-headed bear). The bears journeyed through snow, wandered into a castle, discovered treasures beneath the sea and were transported to an enchanted forest. Intense colours accented with laser light beams was a sight to behold for the audience. The 8,800 square meters digital projection is by far the largest digital projection in Taiwan. This record has yet to be broken.
