25 – 26 May 2018

The Tokyo Foundation Metropolitan Park Association, Takeshiba Area Management in collaboration with Hexogon Solution lighted up Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden in celebration of “Kyu Shiba Rikyu Night Garden”.

Kyu Shiba Rikyu Gardens is a former imperial garden and one of the two surviving Edo period gardens in Tokyo. The tranquility of the garden’s water and trees were the inspiration behind the gentle night light that cascaded on the natural landscape and contours of the greeneries; reflecting calming images on the delicate and placid lake. Traditional music and performances accompanied the luminous projection creating a heartwarming but peaceful atmosphere and attracted many visitors for the two special evenings.
