Hexogon Solution is honoured to be part of Istana’s 150 Commemorative Event hosted by President Halimah Yacob and Mr Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee with the first-ever spectacular digital projection mapping on the main facade of Istana. It was also the first night event that is open to the public.

The Istana is one of the oldest heritage sites in Singapore. It is not only the official residence for the President; it is also an office for both the President and several high-ranking state ministers. The projection spanned over three evenings, with the last evening opened to the public. State-of-the-art high lumens digital projectors and most up-to-date processors were deployed to showcase the remarkable history of Istana. The story depicted the heritage of Istana and touched on how the country looks forward to embracing the future. The show has also illustrated many joyous hosting occasions with foreign dignitaries over the years by past and present Presidents and Prime Ministers of Singapore. In addition, vivid and contrasting graphic colours were meticulously selected to highlight Singapore’s four core ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian). The mesmerising 10-min show concluded with a celebratory finale.

The tight on site security with short set up and animation testing lead time were some challenges in this project. However, Hexogon Solution has always managed to overcome obstacles and has executed a seamless show for our esteemed client.
